It only took Kali about 7 years to make me break down and get another dog! I swear, every year since Pharoh passed, she has asked and I have made every excuse in the book to avoid it. For some reason, this just felt like the year. And, it didn’t hurt that Ginaya agreed to “co-parent” and our Teen Librarian Isabel was incredibly convincing. Her suggestion was to visit the Geauga Humane Society’s Rescue Village and it worked like a charm.
The Rescue Village was clean and organized and the staff was wonderful. We were in and out of there in no time with our new terrier. Her name was already Maura, so we stuck with it. She’s a great dog. I think we’ll have some wonderful years ahead.
Heading home for the first time Learning the lay of the land Comfortable… More comfortable… Most comfortable! She loves a car ride Found her spot, lol. Loving the snow!
