During the summer of 1991, I was facing some really tough times. The parents were separated, puberty was in full swing, and our central air conditioning had died. Trust me, summers in Memphis-10 are hot! I was in summer school to repeat English because I had missed my finals when big sis had a life
It’s hard to keep up when things get busy. I’m practically a one man show (a ridiculous introvert) and can’t take photos like I should! BUT, I have my crew, who has my back, and speaking of which – My Brotha Junior aka Wulfgar aka J After Dark is always cranking out the dopest photos!
Once again the Umojah Nation crew came to Cleveland in style! This time it was Chalk Fest 2017. It was an all day performance – literally morning to evening, with a few breaks in between. And as always, the Cleveland Museum of Art hosted a great event. Like Pops asked when he visited the Museum
Nice time recording demo tracks at Studio 78 with Sausalito Jazz Trio (+one).
Once again it was on… Umojah Nation! We opened up for the legendary Morgan Heritage at Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland. So dope. It was a hot night! I had to get a clip of one of my favorite reggae songs, No Haffi Dread… ‘Got to believe in His Majesty Oh yes, His lineage and divinity
The Umojah Nation crew opened for this immensely talented Sista – Etana – at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights. Love my reggae family!
