Derrick Adams: LOOKS

1–2 minutes

To read

School was out, so Kali and I went back to the Cleveland Museum of Art for another Diasporan display. My artiste of a teenager and I were able to check out LOOKS, the wig inspired/politically driven paintings of Derrick Adams.

I love the scale of these paintings – they’re quite massive. Bottom line, Derrick Adams is immensely talented and we enjoyed the exhibit. Of course once we left this exhibit we had to take a look at the surrounding displays. A wonderful day away from the daily grind. peace
